Concerned about the status of the environment? Celebrate Shabbat and learn how you can make a difference from ecologist, Chicago activist, and science and environment writer, Tim Montague. Mr. Montague, who is affiliated with the Environmental Research Foundation, will discuss efforts in Chicago to reduce global warning and how we can take action. As usual, our Shabbat Service will be preceded at 8:00 p.m. with music and appetizers, and will be followed by a festive oneg. There is no charge for this event, but please RSVP by Wednesday, April 25 to Linda Armitage at 773-435-1536 or email linda@sholomchicago.org. This program is co-sponsored by Teva, Temple Sholom's new Young Adult group for the environment.

Gan Shalom Kids Concert at Temple Sholom

$5 per person
Join us for a fun and exciting kids concert featuring sing-a-long songs with Rabbi Taron Tachman and Gan Shalom Director Rimma Khodosh. This concert is geared toward children ages 5 and under. There will be special opportunities to sample delicious baked goods and purchase photos of your children by photographer Mark Brown.
