GROUPS AND CLUBS

ARZA – Learn about issues in Israel and the Middle East as well as Jewish communities around the world. Meeting once a quarter, this exciting and informative group led by clergy and other Temple Sholom staff offers a wonderful way to keep updated on the latest Jewish issues.

Book Club – Meeting mornings once a month, the Temple Sholom Book Club offers interested members an opportunity to read and discuss a broad range of books with Jewish content including histories, novels and politics.

Brotherhood – Get involved with Temple Sholom’s Brotherhood. This dynamic group offers opportunity for social action projects, hosts a wide variety of speakers and roundtable discussions on key issues and organizes sports and other events that are fun for the whole family. Enjoy and share the camaraderie of this active and vibrant group of men.

Choir – Join our Shir Shalom volunteer choir which meets during the school year on Sunday mornings from 10-11:15. We sing with Cantor Katzman during festival and Shabbat Services.

Connections / Jews-by-Choice – Are you or your partner interested in converting, addressing issues of intermarriage, discussing the challenges of creating a Jewish home, and/or working through the issue of children with partners of different religious backgrounds? Connections offers a forum for open discussions that includes guest speakers and clergy.
