High Holy Days Services & Schedule
ABOUT THE HIGH HOLY DAYS
Yamim Noraim literally means the "Days of Awe." This refers to the High Holy Days,
specifically Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur and is marked by a ten-day period of time
during which we engage in prayer, introspection, repentance and fasting.
Rosh Hashanah marks the Jewish New Year. Yom Kippur is the Day of Atonement.
