Lifecycle
Events
Members have the right to call on the Rabbis and Cantor
to use the Temple facilities in observance of life cycle
events. There are many instances when, for reasons of family
togetherness or geographical circumstances, a life cycle
observance is desired at Temple Sholom although the central
participants live elsewhere. Our basic requirement is that
the family must be affiliated with a synagogue, not necessarily
with Temple Sholom. All privileges due to Temple Sholom
members will be extended as courtesy in appropriate circumstances
to family members who are affiliated with another congregation.
We encourage our members to turn to our clergy for:
• Brit
milah and baby-naming
• Bar/Bat
Mitzvah ceremony
• Marriage
ceremony
• Funeral
services
