What can Judaism teach us about relationships? This is a class for anyone looking to find love in a hopeless place (Chicago, in a pandemic). Rabbi Singer will pair with therapists, social workers, and other relationship experts to discuss the big relationship questions of our time; are there ways to date safely right now? How do we look for red and green flags when we’re meeting people through dating apps? Is there a “right person” for us? How do we deal with conflict and disagreement in new relationships?
This four series class will touch on questions like these from both a psychological and Jewish perspective and will also be a fun way to get to know others who are wondering the same thing.
This class is done in part through a partnership with Shalva, an amazing organization that offers confidential domestic abuse counseling services to the metropolitan Chicago Jewish community in a culturally-sensitive and caring environment.
